Why prime42?

When we made the decision to begin this journey, we wanted to use a name that was corporate without being stuffy, whimsical without being silly and memorable without needing to slap you in the face. We came up with dozens of names, but as we eliminated names for various reasons, we kept coming back to prime42.

We have a shared love of science fiction and the parts that become part of the collective lexicon. The number 42 appears throughout both science fiction and real life, but most importantly, the number 42, among other things, is the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything. How can you go wrong with that in mind?
